Claire Bishop is lecturer in Art History at University of Warwick. She is the author of Installation Art: A Critical History (Tate, 2005), ‘Antagonism and Relational Aesthetics’ (October no.110, 2004), and the edited anthology Documents of Contemporary Art: Participation (Whitechapel/MIT, 2006). She is a regular contributor to Artforum.
