Artists
Michael Elmgreen and Ingar Dragset have collaborated since 1995. Their work explores the relationship between art, architecture and design. Recent solo exhibitions include the traveling exhibition ‘The Welfare Show’, Bergen Kunsthall and Bawag Foundation, Vienna (both 2005) and Serpentine Gallery London and The Power Plant, Toronto (both 2006); ‘Blocking the View’, Tate Modern, London (2004); and ‘Spaced Out’, Portikus, Frankfurt (2003). Recent group exhibitions include the Gwangju Biennale, Gwangju, Korea (2006); Istanbul Pedestrian Exhibitions 2: Tünel – Karakoy, Istanbul (2005); and Utopia Station at the fiftieth Venice Biennale (2003).
