Eve Kosofsky Sedgwick

Eve Kosofsky Sedgwick (Distinguished Professor of English at the Graduate Center, City University of New York) Eve Kosofsky Sedgwick is Distinguished Professor of English at the Graduate Center, City University of New York. She was an early practitioner of queer theory, in books like Between Men: English Literature and Male Homosocial Desire, Epistemology of the Closet, and Tendencies. She also co-edited with Andrew Parker, Performativity and Performance. Her most recent book is Touching Feeling: Affect, Pedagogy, Performativity, and she is currently working on a Melanie Klein-influenced study of Proust’s Neoplatonism.
