Laura Hoptman is the Curator of Contemporary Art at the Carnegie Museum of Art, a position that includes the organisation of the 2004 Carnegie International. A curator of drawing at the Museum of Modern Art for six years, her most recent exhibition was ‘Drawing Now: Eight Propositions’, a survey of contemporary drawing organised under the auspices of MoMA in 2002-03.
