Linda Nochlin is an art historian and critic specialising in the 19th and 20th centuries, as well as contemporary art. Nochlin likes writing about women artists and gender issues particularly. At present, she is curating a show about contemporary women artists worldwide, with Maura Riley, at the Brooklyn Museum.
