Susan Hiller

Artist

Susan Hiller is an artist based in London. Hiller has had a prolific history of international exhibitions; recent solo exhibitions include Castello di Rivoli, Turin (2006), ‘Susan Hiller: Recall’, Kunsthalle Basel (2005) and ‘Susan Hiller: The J-Street Project’, Wexner Center for the Arts, Columbus (2005). Recent Group exhibitions include ‘Monuments for the USA’, CCA Wattis Institute for Contemporary Art and White Columns, New York (2005), ‘Outside of a Dog’, Baltic, Newcastle (2004) and the 2002 Sydney Biennial. Hiller has had major retrospectives as the Institute of Contemporary Arts, London (1986) and Tate Liverpool (1996) and was the recipient of a Guggenheim Fellowship in 1998 and the DAAD Fellowship, Berlin, in 2002.
