DIS, Fair Trade (2012)
DIS is a post-Internet lifestyle magazine about art, fashion and commerce produced by a core team of Lauren Boyle, Solomon Chase, Marco Roso, Nick Scholl and David Toro with collaborators from the worlds of fashion, art, music and technology. Interested in new ways of documenting art and creating images in which the people and the art pictured are in competition for the viewers’ attention, DIS shot and wrote a feature called Fair Trade at Frieze London, using the galleries, and architecture of the fair as both backdrop and subject.

DIS magazine.com launched in March 2010. Recent projects and issues include: ‘The Art School Issue’ (2012); ‘DIS_RT’, MoMA PS1, New York, DIS HQ, a residency in collaboration with Lizzie Fitch, Invisible Exports, New York and Kim Kardashian Kontest, Mondrian Hotel, Miami Beach (all 2011). Group exhibitions include: ‘Counterfeit Anxiety’, Collette, Paris (2011) and ‘Free’, the New Museum, New York (2010).
