Frieze Film 2008 | Artist's Picks

To accompany Frieze Film: Road Movie, we asked some artists commissioned for Frieze Projects 2008 to share their favourite clips from YouTube.

Tue Greenfort

For Frieze Art Fair 2008, Tue Greenfort will excavate a chamber between gallery stands to present an installation that is both a space to relax and - literally – a distillation of the essence of visitors to the fair. While inside a darkened room filled with the sound of waves, dehumidification equipment will imperceptibly extract moisture from unsuspecting visitors.

Tue Greenfort’s top ten YouTube picks:

Bill Joy on renewable energy

The world according to Monsanto (part 1 of 10)

Amazing salt water power

Dr Brian Cox tries to explain a gravity wave

An interview with Vandana Shiva - part 3

Ray Kurzweil

The ‘permaculture’ concept - part 1

Could drinking water scarcity lead to ecological crisis?

Self-starting engine

Contour crafting: a house-building prototype robot
